Each African Habitat Conservancy project is carefully selected with the intention of restoring ecosystems, whilst empowering and uplifting communities through job creation and skills development in the hospitality and conservation industries.
The significant biodiversity of Babanango Game Reserve, encompassing grassland, forest and wetland biomes, means that the efforts to steward this land are key to protecting the future of Zululand’s natural heritage. The importance of this has been recognised by the Department of Environmental Affairs through a financial commitment towards completing the Reserve’s fencelines.
Each completed AHC project seeks to give visitors to the Zululand region of KwaZulu-Natal access to the best conservation experiences possible and authentic South African hospitality.
